Barracão Maravilha Residency Program

I was invited to join Barracão Maravilha Arte Contemporânea as associate artist to join nine other artists to run a space in the centre of Rio de Janeiro, contributing with ideas to manage a collective artists’ studio.

We invested in the redevelopment of the ground floor which became a gallery among other proposals of activation of the space towards the sustainability of an artist-run-space.

Between September 2011 and 2013 I led the studio’s International Artists’ Residency Program which hosted 11 artists from Australia, Belgium, Holland, Italy, United States and United Kingdom.
